Exciting development, no doubt. However, I wouldn't bust out the Manischewitz just yet. If you look carefully to see the important key words, you'll see they really haven't figured out how they're gonna go about this.
The bill "COULD" come to the floor of the national legislature by the end of 2020, and is, at least as now projected, to take effect by the summer to fall of 2021.
The committee said there is an essential need for "DETAILED" and "THOROUGH" legislation concerning "ALL POSSIBLE" aspects of the regulation, a lesson from the Colorado model, which had much less data to go on when the Rocky Mountain state chose to legalize cannabis in 2012.
Yea... I wouldn't hold my breath.
